Inspired by the methodologies of urbanist William H. Whyte, and having lived in a multitude of cities around the world as the son of a diplomat, Paco Underhill founded the first iteration of Envirosell in 1977. His strong environmental planning background, paired with his experience working for nonprofit group Project for Public Spaces, supported his lofty goal: to optimize the environments in which we live.
Along with earliest colleagues Craig Childress, Anne Marie Luthro and Tom Moseman, the team developed what is today known as Envirosell.
Headquartered in New York, with offices in Milan, Tokyo, São Paulo, Mexico City, Bangkok and Mumbai, Envirosell's work – and Paco’s bestselling books – have served as key resources for dozens of Fortune 500 corporations, Ivy League universities and trade associations spanning the globe.
